Turnkey started out as an idea at a kitchen table. Owners and husband/wife team Deanna Novarro-Ek and Karl Ek decided to blend their strengths to build a company that could be a legacy for their children. With vast construction backgrounds in general construction, painting and sales, the couple set out to build a construction and painting company with a mission for providing property managers and building owners with a “one-stop-shop” service offering to eliminate the need for multiple vendors and contracts.
Their business model was simple: one company and one line of communication to ensure the most “Turnkey” solution for a wide variety of property types. From the first project of fixing a toilet to many capital projects totaling more than $1 million covering all commercial building types and multi-family dwellings, Turnkey Construction and Painting has grown into a company that can handle all types of projects – whether large or small – professionally and with great personal care.
